He received intensive training in Indian Classical Music( Khayal, tarana, tappa, thumri, dadra, chaiti, kajri and bhajan etc) from his Guru and Grand Father Late Pandit Ganesh Prasad Mishra(Ex-Vice Chancellor of Bhatkhande University-Lucknow) and Father Pandit Vidyadhar Mishra(Professor & Ex-HOD Music Department, Allahabad University).
